Rumble of Ancient Times ( 以下稱 RoAT) 是一款啟發自早期 PC 遊戲音效的 8 bit 合成器 / 序列器，RoAT 能夠在小小的機身中發出相當廣泛的音色，從緊湊混沌的 noise 聲響到多樣的 glitching 節奏，通通可以透過 RoAT 編排出來。

RoTM 的核心是由四個 Oscillator 組合而成，而每一個之中包含一組可調整的波形以及 LFO，內建 LFO 可以被用來調變音量以及聲音的輪廓，且這些聲響最後會彙整到一組錯綜複雜的整合 FM 演算法中，來產生獨特的音色。

此外，RoAT 也配備了 8-bits 的 resonant LPF，給予聲響一層 Lo-Fi 般的渲染。內建的 Sequencer 也有配備 clock 功能，更夠輕易與外部器材連動使用。使用 4 個 AAA 電池即可使用長達 130 小時以上。

那究竟是什麼造就了 RoAT 的特殊性呢？SOMA 表示 RoAT 的設計主要就是要聚焦在使用被時代淘汰的微型晶片以及編碼技術來試探多種的可能性，這台合成器甚至是使用與老舊冰箱同款的控制晶片以及其他簡易的電路來創造出許多無限的可能。

Q1. What is the inspection period?
